Personal Work

Artist Statement

"My [personal] work is a means of processing burnout and an ADHD diagnosis in my late 30s. I examine the emotional consequences of growing up undiagnosed and untreated: exploring anxiety, shame, and disconnected self-identity through images of my past and present self."

Self Portraits (Present Day)

Childhood Memory series

Four paintings hanging in a gallery. One depicts a white woman's hand nestled in red silk, with gold stars covering sore, wounded cuticles. The three other paintings depict childhood photos of the artist with text scribbled over the top of them.
